Counselor Weekly Video Blog

Mr. Bradshaw and Mrs Nelson will share their thoughts on a variety of subjects but most importantly how we are all living and learning through this extraordinary change in all of our lives

Are you a Glass Half Empty or Glass Half Full person?"
It's a simple question but not a simple answer.  Are you finding the negative in every part of this "crazy" new way of life or are you taking advantage of the opportunity.  We are asking both students and our teachers to share videos of their personal lives and what things they are doing to remain positive, energetic, and creative during this momentary change to our everyday lives.  Please send your videos to Mrs. Nelson or Mr. Bradshaw ↓↓ by email.  Videos must be positive, no longer than 1 minute, and no "shout outs" to friends (we love the idea but are not allowed to do).  We miss you and hope to hear from you soon

In response to an increased need in our community for mental healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic, Mind Springs Health has launched a new mental health support line.  Anyone who is struggling can reach out to us at 1-877-519-7505 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.  This line will be staffed with mental health professionals who will provide help to those experiencing increased anxiety and stress due to social distancing and others issues surrounding the virus outbreak.  We will also refer callers with more acute needs to additional resources for care and guidance if needed.

The School Counselors follow the ethical standard of confidentiality.
